In Islam, tattoos are considered haram (forbidden) in all forms because they involve changing the creation of Allah. Prophet Muhammad cursed the one who does tattoos and the one for whom that is done. On the other hand, ear piercings are permissible, as they are considered a form of wearing ornaments, which is allowed. Nose piercings are generally prohibited unless in specific circumstances, as they are seen as unnecessary and akin to body torture. And Allah knows best.
