No, poker is not halal. Playing poker, whether for money or not, is generally prohibited in Islam. If played for money, it falls under gambling, which is explicitly forbidden. Even without money, many scholars still prohibit poker because it relies heavily on conjecture and guesswork, similar to playing with dice, which is also prohibited.
