Public displays of affection (PDA) are generally considered haram in Islam. Kissing one’s wife in public is not permissible, as it goes against the command that such intimate actions should be private. While holding hands might be more lenient, it is still advised to be mindful and respectful of cultural and Islamic norms. Repentance and a firm resolve not to repeat such actions are required if PDA has been committed. And Allah knows best.
