Yes, kissing a non-mahram (someone you are not married to) is haram in Islam. Several hadiths and verses indicate this prohibition. Specifically, a man and his fiancée are not considered married until the marriage contract is completed, making it impermissible for them to be alone, travel together, touch, or kiss each other.
However, kissing one’s own spouse (wife/husband) is not haram.
