No, Hurting someone emotionally is not permissible in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever harms the Muslims or causes hardship to them, Allah will requite him for his deed in this world and the hereafter, or in one of them.” Muslims are encouraged to treat others with kindness and avoid causing emotional distress.
