An ISA (Individual Savings Account) can be halal if it is Sharia-compliant. Conventional cash ISAs are not halal because they involve earning interest, which is prohibited in Islam. However, there are Sharia-compliant ISAs that do not pay interest and invest in ventures deemed permissible under Islamic law. These are approved by Sharia scholars and are considered halal.
