Wearing gold is haram (forbidden) for men in Islam. This is supported by numerous hadiths and the consensus of Islamic scholars.

Evidence from Hadiths:

1. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not wear silk or gold.” [Ahmad]
2. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said, “Whoever of my community dies wearing gold, Allah shall prevent them from wearing it in Paradise.” [Tabarani]
3. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that, “The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade gold rings.” [Muslim]
