However, ‘Liqueur Chocolates’ which contain alcohol are not halal, regardless of the source of the alcohol. Similarly, the ‘Chocolate Liqueur’ alcoholic drink is not halal. Chocolate liquor does not contain any alcohol; it is made from cocoa beans that have fermented, and thus, it is halal.
