1. How This Site Began
About a year ago I launched HalalAnswers to help anyone who wonders, “Is this product truly halal?” My intent was simple: gather reliable sources and share them freely. Life got busy, updates slowed, yet—al‑ḥamdu lillāh—I recently discovered that thousands of you still visit and benefit.
2. The Crisis We Cannot Ignore
While I was checking traffic charts, another reality kept pulling at my heart: the relentless starvation of Palestinian families in Gaza. Each headline feels heavier than the last—children denied food, parents digging for water, entire neighborhoods erased. Some days I can’t even scroll social media; the images are too painful.
We pray for them daily, yet prayer alone no longer feels like enough.
3. Why I’m Writing to You
If this website attracts people who fear Allah and care deeply about what enters their bodies, I believe it also gathers souls who care about the Ummah’s collective body. Perhaps, together, we can do more than any one of us can alone.
- Share verified information about trustworthy aid routes.
- Educate friends and family on the reality inside Gaza.
- Amplify campaigns that open humanitarian corridors.
- Pool resources—even the smallest sadaqah counts when multiplied by thousands.
4. Our Obligation in the Qurʼān & Sunnah
“Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and those who strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah…”
Qurʼān 4 : 95
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The believers, in their mutual kindness, mercy, and compassion, are like a single body; when one limb suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
